Tour program
Coming to Ulan-Ude. Getting acquainted with the spiritual capital of Buddhism in Russia - Ivolginsky datsan where lay the world-famous imperishable body of Khambo Lama Dashi Itigilov. Going to Baikal to the village of Ust-Barguzin, viewing the sights on the way and making stops in the sacred places (Pykhta pass, river Chaim and "Cherepashka" boulder. After a long journey, you will be served dinner and relax in a comfortable hotel.
We have a real expedition waiting for us! We are going to cross Baikal OVER ICE, all the way to Olkhon Island! You will see Hoboy and Sagan Hushun, the sacred capes. These are not only places with strong energy, which the islanders have revered for centuries, but also a concentration of the most spectacular pressure ridges and Baikal ice! We will take a look at the impregnable rocks, look into caves and have a photoshoot, skate on the ice of Maloe More (Small Sea), and admire the uncommon forms of giant icicles.
The statement "If you haven't been to Olkhon, you haven't been to Baikal" is 100% true. It's a real jewel of the lake with amazing landscapes and the best-known Shamanka Rock. This day, we will explore the capes and islands of Maloe More. We'll go photo hunting for bubbles in the ice, have fun, skate, take pictures, and have the most delicious lunch of Baikal cuisine right on the shore of Lake Baikal. Riding on a khivus - an air cushion.
This day we go out on the ice and discover the beauty of the northern part of Olkhon Island. Massive rocks and secluded bays, volatile landscapes, and snow-covered dunes... You will see the Haralday Cape and the islands of the Maloe More, the Peschanka deposit, Cape Sagan-Hushun, and Cape Khoboy, the northernmost point of the island, as well as the Uzury settlement and weather station. After lunch, we are going back to the village of Ust-Barguzin.
Protected areas! The road to the picturesque Chivyrkuisky Bay lies through the Trans-Baikal National Park, along the longest sandy beach of Baikal - Myagkaya Karga. Breathtaking views of the Barguzin Bay and the peaks of the Svyatoy Nos Peninsula. Having reached the Chivyrkuisky Bay, we go to the thick Baikal ice, and the expedition on the most magnificent caves and grottos, located on the bay islands with speaking names Ptichy Bazar - Bird Bazaar, Goly - Naked, Lokhmaty - Shaggy) begins.
